The Fashionista: Dog Edition
BY AMELIE SELBY
As we all know, dogs are the pride and joy of life, but can anything really be the pride and joy if it doesn’t look stylish? I don’t think so. I mean, of course, dogs are cute, but a stylish dog is cute-tastic! There are many looks we are going to cover.
First off: “The Everyday Look.”
There are many elements that make this look so simple and elegant. You’ll always want to match a dress with an accessory or, if the dog is male,* you want to match pants or shirt with an accessory like a hat.
Next up: “The Ballerina Look.”
This is — by far — the most beautiful look. You want a nice elegant tutu, ballet shoes and an accessory to pull the look together.
Next step: “The Bridal Look.”
This one can be hard to pull off so you want to rehearse a walk and bridal dance. You’ll want a white dress with an accessory like pearls or a veil.
Next up: “The Party Look.”
You’ll want a fun, colorful outfit with a tutu and party hat.
Next up: “The Alice in Wonderland Look.”
This look is my favorite. You want a blue dress with white spots and a blue and white hair bow to pull the look together.
Last, but not least: “The Princess Look.”
First off, you want to choose your princess. Once you have it, you want to get a puffy tutu in the appropriate color. Your princess look wears with many details and, like always, accessories.

RECIPE: Peanut Butter Dog Treats*
BY ROSALIE HARTOG
From my many years of fostering dogs, I have perfected a dog treat recipe. It's simple, easy and only takes four ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups flour
½ cup peanut butter
2 eggs
¼ cup water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350 F.
Mix flour, peanut butter and eggs in a medium mixing bowl until slightly combined.
Add small amounts of water (approximately one Tbsp at a time) until the mixture is wet enough to roll as dough.
Next, roll out the dough until ¼ inch thick and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.
Place your treats on a lined baking sheet and bake in the oven for 13-15 minutes.
* NOT satire.
